In the endoscope including an insertion unit with the flexible part, a slim part with the same outer diameter as the flexible part, a large diameter part with a larger outer diameter than the outer diameter of the slim part, and a taper part on which the slim part and the large diameter part are continuously installed are formed on the flexible part.
