PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting system that is capable of performing appropriate watering to suppress over-moisture and over-drying, and requires no soil moisture sensor and no consideration of the accuracy and lifetime of sensors.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a planting system comprising: a planting device 1 having a plant growth substrate 4 on which a plant 3 is planted, a watering device 5, and a fan 6; and a watering control device 22. Here, the watering control device 22 controls an amount of watering in accordance with the amount of aeration in the plant growth substrate 4 by the fan 6.
