The present invention concerns a composition comprising, in particular in a physiologically acceptable medium: a) at least particles of at least one polymer surface-stabilised by a stabilising agent, the polymer of the particles being a C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer the stabilising agent being an isobornyl (meth)acrylate polymer chosen from isobornyl (meth)acrylate homopolymer and the statistical copolymers of isobornyl (meth)acrylate and of C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate present in an isobornyl (meth)acrylate / C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate weight ratio greater than 4 and c) a non-aqueous medium containing at least one hydrocarbon oil and d) at least one organic UV filter. More particularly, the C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer particles are surface-stabilised by said isobornyl (meth)acrylate polymer and dispersed in said non-aqueous medium. It also concerns a non-therapeutic cosmetic method for limiting the darkening of the skin and/or improving the colour and/or the homogeneity of the tone comprising the application, on the surface of the keratinous material, of at least one composition as previously defined.
