In device for placing a toe of a patients foot in traction may broadly include a shoe portion (e.g., a sole, counter, and strap(s)) a toe attachment apparatus (e.g., a Chinese finger trap) having a cable (28) extending therefrom a pulley (29), with the cable wrapped about the pulley and an apparatus (34) (e.g.. a ratchet, an actuator, and the like) configured to apply tension to the cable to create traction in the toe. A second actuator may adjust lateral positioning of the pulley relative to the shoe portion to set a desired angle of adduction for the traction provided to the toe by the cable. A meter may be coupled to the cable to indicate an amount of tension provided thereto. Another actuator may adjust elevational positioning of the pulley relative to the shoe portion to set a desired angle of dorsiflexion for the traction provided to the toe by the cable.La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant de placer un orteil du pied dun patient en traction, pouvant comprendre, dune manière générale, une partie de chaussure (par exemple, une semelle, une voûte et une(des) sangle(s)) un appareil de fixation des orteils (par exemple, un piège à doigts chinois) ayant un câble (28) sétendant à partir de ce dernier une poulie (29), avec le câble enroulé autour de la poulie et un appareil (34) (par exemple, un cliquet, un actionneur et analogue) conçu pour exercer une tension sur le câble afin de créer une traction dans lorteil.
