The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition in oil-in-water emulsion form, comprising: from 0.1% to 10% by weight of vegetable oils of triglyceride type, a continuous aqueous-alcoholic phase comprising water and a C1-C4 monoalcohol, the water being present in the composition at a content ranging from 0.5% to 10% by weight, particles chosen from insoluble-silicate particles, silica particles, and mixtures thereof, said particles having a size of less than or equal to 10 &mum. The invention also relates to a cosmetic treatment process, in particular a hair conditioning process, using this composition.
