A method for the preparation of anhydrous, alcohol-free tetramethylammonium fluoride is described. The method includes fluorination of tetramethylammonium chloride with potassium fluoride in an alcohol solvent, removal of insoluble potassium salts, and finally, removal of the alcohol solvent and replacement of it with an aprotic solvent.L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de fluorure de tétraméthylammonium anhydre sans alcool. Le procédé comprend la fluoration du chlorure de tétraméthylammonium avec du fluorure de potassium dans un solvant alcoolique, l'élimination des sels de potassium insolubles, et enfin, l'élimination du solvant alcoolique et le remplacement de celui-ci par un solvant aprotique.
