PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus or the like which selectively visualizes diagnostic information on a detailed vascular bifurcation level.SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is capable of applying ultrasonic waves having sound pressure high enough to destroy contrast medium bubbles present in a predetermined cross section, so that a blood flow image or tissue image can be eliminated from a blood circulation flow image by bursting the contrast medium bubbles in the cross section. After a second transmission of such ultrasonic waves, whose amount is equivalent to one frame image, is conducted, a third transmission of ultrasonic waves having low sound pressure that practically does not burst any contrast medium bubbles is carried out to obtain the blood circulation flow image of a predetermined cross section.
