PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform work for suppressing adhesion of a marine organism on a pile of an existing marine structure.SOLUTION: A device 1 for suppressing adhesion of a marine organism includes a cylindrical member 2 fitted on a pile 100 so as to cover an outer peripheral surface of at least either of a splash zone or a tidal zone of the pile 100. The cylindrical member 2 is divided into a plurality of ring-form members 6 in a longitudinal direction thereof. The ring-form member 6 is divided into a plurality of members (circular arcuate members 7) in a circumferential direction thereof. The device 1 for suppressing adhesion of a marine organism further includes an expandable/contractable expansion member 4 interposed between an inner peripheral surface (a recess 6a) of the ring-form member 6 and an outer peripheral surface 101 of the pile 100. The ring-form member 6 is fixed on the pile 100 through the expansion member 4 when the expansion member 4 is in an expanded state.
