The invention pertains to an ultrasonic fluid dispersal device (1) comprising a tank unit (10) comprising a fluid inlet (12), a particle outlet (13), and a bottom region (15) that is adapted to hold an amount of fluid (50), wherein the fluid inlet (12) is adapted to supply the fluid (50) from a fluid reservoir (55) to the bottom region (15), and an ultrasonic transducer (20) that is arranged in the bottom region (15) and adapted to emit ultrasonic waves (29) into the fluid (50) causing at least a part of the fluid (50) in the bottom region (15) to be transformed into mist (57), characterized in that the transducer (20) covers at least two-thirds of a bottom side (11) of the tank unit (10), and the device (1) comprises a first air flow means (61, 62) which is adapted and arranged to create a first air flow (63, 64) to force dry particles (58) of the mist (57) through the particle outlet (13). The invention also pertains to a method for dispersing a fluid (50) comprising providing an amount of fluid (50) in a tank unit (10), emitting ultrasonic waves to the fluid (50) to generate mist (57), creating a first flow of air (63) to force dry particles (58) of the mist (57) towards and through a mist outlet (13) of the tank unit (10), and preventing wet particles (56) from the fluid (50) or the mist (57) to reach the mist outlet (13).
