Problem to be solved: to provide a suitable system and method for connecting and disconnecting a catheter.A convergent renal ureteral catheter is used in the treatment of urologic complications, particularly requiring a single surgically delivered device to treat patients who have to be diagnosed with interventional radiology (IR).In many current techniques, the patient needs to remove the previously operated renal ureteral catheter and return to the operating room to replace the full catheter with a fully embedded ureter stent delivered through the same access site at the flank.This conversion renal ureteral catheter reduces the need to return for the second surgical procedure.After 2 weeks of initial implantation, the proximal portion of the convertible renal ureteral catheter extending from the body can be simply removed.Simple operation in the catheter hub leaves the ureteral stent embedded in the patient's urinary system and allows the proximal portion to be removed.Fig.17【課題】カテーテルを連結および分断するための好適なシステムおよび方法を提供すること。【解決手段】転換式腎尿管カテーテルが、特に、介入放射線医（ＩＲ）に診てもらわなければならない患者を治療するために単一の外科的に送達されるデバイスを必要とする、泌尿器系合併症の治療で使用される。多くの現在の手技では、患者は、以前に送達された腎尿管カテーテルを除去して、脇腹における同一アクセス部位を通して送達される完全に埋め込まれた尿管ステントと本カテーテルを交換するために、手術室に戻る必要がある。本転換式腎尿管カテーテルは、第２の外科的手技のために戻る必要性を低減させる。最初の埋込の２週間後に、身体から外へ延在する転換式腎尿管カテーテルの近位部分は、単純に除去され得る。カテーテルハブにおける単純な動作は、患者の泌尿器系内に埋め込まれた尿管ステントを残して、本近位部分が除去されることを可能にする。【選択図】図１７Ｂ
