PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper enhanced in engagement force between a fastening part in a fastening tape and a part to be fastened engaged with the fastening part.SOLUTION: The disposable diaper is formed using a hook member of a hook-and-loop fastener as the fastening part 120a in the fastening tape 120 and providing the surface of a back face sheet 112 with the part to be fastened made of a nonwoven fabric 10 engaged with the fastening part 120a. The nonwoven fabric 10 includes thermally extensible fibers extended by heating and has a large number of protrusions 19 and recesses 18 on one face side. The thermal extension coefficient of the thermally extensible fibers constituting the protrusions 19 is higher in the upper part of the protrusions 19 than in the lower part.
