The present invention relates to a portable sample detecting system and sample detecting module thereof, which can detect at least one sample and transfer the detection results to a remote database system and obtain detection results at anytime and anywhere. The system includes: a smart cell phone having a screen unit and a light detecting unit and a sample detecting system comprises a body unit, a sample installing unit, a first light guide unit, and a second light guide unit. Wherein, the detecting light source from the screen unit illuminates the sample installing unit through the first light guide unit, and the obtained light signal of detection results of at least one sample illuminates the light detecting unit through the second light guide unit. The smart cell phone calculates the light signal of sample detection result and output the sample detection results.
