PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin beautifying promoter capable of raising water holding properties of the skin and affording the moist skin with a fine texture by oral ingestion. SOLUTION: This skin beautifying promoter is obtained by including an enzymic hydrolyzate of a swallows nest as an active ingredient. The enzymic hydrolyzate is preferably a hydrolyzate with a protease. The molecular weight of the enzymic hydrolyzate is preferably 2,000-70,000. The skin beautifying promoter preferably contains collagen and/or its enzymic hydrolyzate and further preferably contains at least one kind selected from glucosamine, a nucleic acid, an SOD like substance, an SOD activity inducer and lactoferrin. Furthermore, at least one kind of a cultured product obtained by culturing lactic acid bacteria, enterococci, yeasts or fungi is preferably contained.
