PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid transfer carrier which has lower toxicity, can be administered topically or systemically, increases the attainment efficiency and the introduction efficiency of nucleic acid pharmaceuticals to a treating affected area, and can be applied clinically.SOLUTION: The invention provides a nucleic acid transfer carrier containing a peptide surfactant which consists of a head part consisting of 4-10 hydrophilic amino acids and a tail part consisting of one or two hydrophobic amino acids.
