PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel comprising a low-cost rear drag mechanism having an excellent assemblability and a small part number, which can be realized in a compact structure without inviting a size increase for preventing the whirl stop of a pressing member and/or the come-out of a drug adjusting knob from a reel body.SOLUTION: In a fishing reel according to the invention, a drag adjusting knob 22 of a rear drag mechanism 20 is attached rotatably and axially immovably to a reel body 1.
