PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an environment capable of promoting growth of aquatic lives, and growing the aquatic lives without causing reduction deterioration of a state caused by increase of an organic compound inclusion amount.SOLUTION: The method for growing the aquatic lives is configured so that, a fertilization material containing a coal ash, iron, and chelator is arranged on a growth area of shellfishes or algas. Metallic ions are dissolved as complexes from the fertilization material, and nitrogen, phosphorus and silicon are eluted thereby these elements are ingested directly or indirectly by the shellfishes or algas, for promoting growth of the shellfish or algas.
