Since the stacking part (9) is attached and secured to the rotating part (1) by means of the magnet (11), when an external force exceeds the magnetic attraction force, the magnetic attachment of the stacking part (9) will be broken off. The elbow supporting device for use in a vertebral body stretching bed is made by using the locking device the elbow supporting device is mounted and secured on the stacking part (9) of the locking device, thus limiting a stretching force exerted onto a vertebral body of a human body within a safe range.
