PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold keeping tool which uses not a non-freezing gel but a cold keeping material that involves phase change in cooling and uses latent heat, and which shows sufficient flexibility as a whole even when the cold keeping material is frozen and to provide a method for manufacturing the cold keeping tool.SOLUTION: In the cold keeping tool 1, a cold keeping material container 2 is composed of a flexible material and includes, in an integrated manner, a number of recesses 3 each surrounded by a side wall portion 3a and a bottom portion 3b and a thin connecting portion 4 provided each between opening edges 3c of the recesses 3 to mutually connect the recesses 3 and a cold keeping material 6 is stored in each recess 3 of the container 2, the cold keeping material containing a gel that contains water and is frozen when cooled to a fixed temperature. The method for manufacturing the same includes: storing a gel raw material in a liquid state in which it is not gelled yet in each recess 3 of the cold keeping material container 2 and then gelling the gel raw material to make the cold keeping material 6 composed of a freezable gel.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】冷却時相変化を伴い、潜熱を利用する保冷材を用い、不凍ゲルは用いず、なおかつ保冷材が凍結しても、全体として十分な可撓性を示す保冷具およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の保冷具1は、可撓性を有する材料からなり、側壁部3aおよび底部3bで囲まれた多数の凹陥部3と、これらの凹陥部3の開口3c縁部間に設けられており、各凹陥部3を連結する薄厚の連結部4とを一体的に有する保冷材容器2の各凹陥部3に、水を含有する一定温度まで冷却すると凍結するゲルからなる保冷材6を収容してなる。本発明の製造方法は、未だゲル化していない液状の状態でゲル原料を保冷材容器2の各凹陥部3に収容した後、ゲル原料をゲル化し、凍結するゲルからなる保冷材6とする。【選択図】図9
