PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the amount of vertical movement of a measuring unit without upsizing a hybrid ophthalmologic apparatus with the measuring unit which is provided with a plurality of measuring functions.
SOLUTION: This ophthalmologic apparatus is provided with the measuring unit which comprises a first measuring section for measuring a first characteristics of a subjects eyes, and a second measuring section for measuring a second characteristics of the subjects eyes, and in which the first and second measuring sections are arranged in such a manner that the measuring optical axes of the first and second measuring sections are different in height from each other. The ophthalmologic apparatus measures the characteristics of the subjects eyes by aligning the measuring optical axes of the first and second measuring sections with the subjects eyes, respectively. The ophthalmologic apparatus comprises: a vertical movement unit which comprises a parallel crank mechanism enabling the measuring unit to move upward and downward, and a driving mechanism with a driving part for operating the parallel crank mechanism and a controlling means for controlling the driving mechanism so that the measuring optical axis of the second measuring section can be almost equal in height to the measuring optical axis during the measurement by the first measuring section, on the basis of a measurement mode switching signal, after the measurement of the subjects eyes by the first measuring section.
