PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic composition excellent in convenience and damaged hair-caring effect.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic composition is used for the hair, preferably without rinsing, after applying to the hair and the composition comprises the following (A)-(D) components (A) 0.07 mass% to 12.5 mass% surfactant, (B) 0.07 mass% to 12.5 mass% at least one silicone derivative selected from a dimethiconol and an amino-modified silicone, (C) 22.5 mass%-72.5 mass% polyol and (D) 0.07 mass% to 12.5 mass% water.
