PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost external skeletal fixation device for finger bone fracture therapy, the device providing a secure traction force and allowing fine adjustment and easy operation.SOLUTION: An external skeletal fixation device according to the present invention is a therapy tool for a bone fracture of a finger joint. The external skeletal fixation device is to be disposed along both sides of a proximal phalanx 1 and a middle phalanx 2 or the middle phalanx 2 and a distal phalanx 3 (for thumb, the proximal phalanx 1 and the distal phalanx 3) with a joint interposed therebetween. The external skeletal fixation device receives at its proximal ends a first pin 7 penetrating the proximal phalanx or the middle phalanx. The external skeletal fixation device includes bolts 4 each with a thread 4a formed on its outer periphery from a distal end of the first pin and with a long groove 5 formed on its center and opening in a lateral direction, rings 8 each fitted on the bolt 4 at its distal end forked into upper and lower parts, and to a long groove of which a second pin 9 penetrating the middle phalanx or the distal phalanx is inserted, nuts 10 each threaded to the thread of the bolt 4 between the first and the second pins, and coil springs 11 each fitted on the bolt 4 between the nut 10 and the ring 8.
