Invention herewith described refers to the external skeletal fixator coupler which has four components: the coupler holder (1), the toothed insert (2), the suppressing insert (3) and the nut (4). The second version of the toothed insert consists of two parts - the toothed insert for the bar (16) and the toothed insert for the pin (17), so that, in this case, the coupler of the external fixator has five (5) parts. The coupler holder (1) has a wider portion (8) through the transverse hole (5) of which is pulled the clamp holder or the connecting bar of the external fixator (15), and on the narrower part (9) with the thread (10) and the toothed insert (2) will be first pulled on it, then follows the suppressing insert (3), and then onto the thread (10) there will be screwed the nut (4). On one side, the toothed insert (2) has radially spaced teeth (7) whose sides rest on the coupler holder or the connecting bar of the external fixator (15), and on the opposite side it has a slot (6) for the pin of the external fixator (14).
