The present invention provides a mating action disruptor for insect pests which is a major pest in the field of rice cultivation. The present inventors have found that by applying flornicamide to juice insect pests in the field of rice cultivation, the mating behavior of pests is disturbed and a stable high control effect is exhibited over a long period of time. This finding is an unexpected effect that flocicamid is disturbed by mating behavior of pests, which is distinct from the use of simple fungicides.
