PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary memory access which may cause suspension of transfer time or increase of power consumption when transferring image data for each reduction image.SOLUTION: An image data transfer apparatus for a radiographic device which transfers X-ray image data outputted from an X-ray detection section to an external device, acquires pixel values constituting X-ray image data in an order of pixels outputted by the X-ray detection section, distributes the acquired pixel values on the basis of pixel positions in the image to divide the X-ray image data into a predetermined number of reduction images, and holds each of the reduction images in a memory area of a continuous address.
