PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microneedle in which a biodegradable material containing a drug can be easily placed in the skin in a drug administration method by TTS using a microneedle. SOLUTION: The shape of a microneedle is a pyramid, and a pyramid-shaped microneedle that punctures the skin has a two-stage structure of a support portion and a tip portion, and a side ridge of the tip portion and a side ridge of the support portion rotate the apex of the pyramid. By making the microneedle having a two-stage structure in a state where it is offset from the center, the bottom surface portion of the tip portion that acts as a barb becomes larger when pulled out after intraskin puncture, that is, to the outside of the bottom surface of the tip portion with respect to the side surface of the support portion. As a result, the bottom surface of the tip portion is easily caught on the skin, and the tip portion is easily separated from the support portion and placed.
