The optical output unit outputs light by the predetermined output position and angle. The optical system reflects the light outputted from the optical output unit to a scanning object tooth. The optical system driving controller performs at least two scanning processes for the same portion on the scanning object tooth. The light sensing unit senses the reflected light from the scanning object tooth. The sensing value merging unit merges the sensing value. The scanning data generating unit calculates the location coordinates for the scanning object tooth.
