The present invention relates to a balance measuring apparatus to measure balance of a user from a posture of the user to be measured, diagnose balance of the user based on the measured balance, and provide kinesitherapy based on the diagnosis, and a measuring method using the apparatus. The balance measuring apparatus comprises: a pair of footrest members provided to correspond to left and right feet of a user, wherein a pair of air cells is installed at the front side and one air cell is installed at the back side of each of the footrest members； an air moving pipe connecting each of the air cells constituting the footrest members with a respective motor and moving air in order for the air to be introduced into or discharged from each of the air cells by operations of the motor； a solenoid valve electrically installed in the air moving pipe and electrically controlled to open or close a flow path of the air moving pipe； a pressure sensor measuring air pressure within the air cells； and a control unit controlling the motor and solenoid valve and measuring the balance of the user by analyzing output signals of the pressure sensor.본 발명은 사용자의 측정 자세에서 사용자의 균형도를 측정하고, 측정된 균형도를 기반으로 하여 사용자의 균형을 진단하고 이를 토대로 운동치료를 제공하기 위한 장치 및 이를 이용한 측정방법에 관한 것으로, 사용자의 좌우측 발에 각각 대응되도록 제공되며, 전측에 한쌍 그리고 후측에 1개의 에어셀이 구획되어 설치되는 한 쌍의 발판부재와, 상기 발판부재를 구성하는 각각의 에어셀과 각각의 모터를 연결시켜 모터의 작동에 의해 에어셀 내부로 공기를 유입 또는 배출하도록 공기를 이동시키는 공기이동관과, 상기 공기이동관에 설치되어 공기이동관의 유로를 개폐하도록 전기적으로 제어되는 솔밸브와, 상기 공기호스 상에 에어셀 내부의 공기압을 측정하는 압력센서와, 상기 모터와 솔밸브를 제어하며, 상기 압력센서의 출력신호를 분석하여 사용자의 균형도를 측정하는 제어부로 구성되는 균형도 측정장치를 제공한다.
