PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a target of a radiation tube and a cooling medium from being caused by contact between the target and the cooling medium disposed around the radiation tube.SOLUTION: A radiation tube includes a shielding body which is disposed in an opening part so as to enclose a target and shields a part of radiation rays emitted from the target. The shielding body has a passage communicating with the target. An end part of the passage is closed by a lid body.
