PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dental floss which shows excellent flossing effects and gives excellent use feeling.SOLUTION: A dental floss yarn includes split fiber which has single yarn fineness of 2 dtex or less and is formed by splitting composite fiber multi-filaments, made of at least two kinds of fiber forming polymers with different official moisture regains, by stress, and at least a part of a segment, constituting the split fiber, has an atypical shape of the fiber cross-section having edges.
