A spinning reel for casting fishing line includes a handle rotatably, a spool shaft, a spool, a rotor and a drainage hole. The spool shaft moves back and forth in accordance with rotation of the handle. The spool includes a bobbin trunk and a skirt portion in a rear portion of the bobbin trunk and has a larger diameter than the external diameter of the bobbin trunk. The rotor rotates has a wall portion with a smaller diameter than an external diameter of the skirt portion and through which the spool shaft penetrates, the rotor further including a first cylindrical portion protruding from the wall portion and at least part of which overlaps the skirt portion, and a second cylindrical portion protruding from the wall portion. The drainage hole passes from an interior to an exterior of the first cylindrical portion.本發明之課題係在於既可防止釣線侵入到捲筒的裙部，亦可抑制水從轉子的圓筒部侵入至捲線器本體的內部。用以解決課題之手段為，紡車式捲線器(100)具備捲線器本體(2)、把手(3)、捲筒軸(4)、捲筒(5)、轉子(6)及排水孔(7)。捲筒軸(4)係因應把手(3)的旋轉，與捲筒(5)一同在捲線器本體(2)朝前後方向往復移動。捲筒(5)具有捲線主體部(5a)；及較捲線主體部(5a)的外徑更大徑之裙部(5b)。轉子(6)係較裙部(5b)的外徑更小徑，具有：供捲筒軸(4)朝軸方向貫通之壁部(61)；從壁部(61)朝前方突出，至少一部分與裙部(5b)在徑方向上重疊之第1圓筒部(62)；及從壁部(61)朝後方突出之第2圓筒部(63)。排水孔(7)係從轉子(6)的第1圓筒部(62)的內側朝外側貫通。
