An intravascular device delivery system (100) has an elongated member (102) with a flexible hypotube (114). The hypotube can be rotationally keyed to a steerable catheter (116). The flexible hypotube includes one or more cuts (134, 136) to allow bending of the flexible hypotube within a first plane.
