PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band containing a water-absorbing resin without leakage of powder of the water-absorbing resin and its hydrous gel when using the band containing the water-absorbing resin, and to provide a manufacturing method of the band.SOLUTION: The band containing the water-absorbing resin is a bag-like air permeable cloth band for which two or more sections of bag parts are formed by sewing and the water-absorbing resin is enclosed in the respective bag parts, and nonwoven fabric made of synthetic fibers or the like is present between the cloth and the water-absorbing resin.
