The subject of the present invention is the oral cosmetic use of a combination of at least one polyunsaturated fatty acid and an active agent comprising one carotenoid for hair quality improvement and, more particularly, improvement of hair quality at the area level grown before use of a combination of active agents. The combination of active agents may also include vitamin E, vitamin C, or a combination thereof, as additional active agents.
