[Problem] To provide a medical aid and a guiding catheter, which are capable of affixing a catheter while the catheter is inserted in a living organism to a desired position.[Solution] This medical aid (100) has: a body section (10) having formed therein a catheter insertion lumen (14) into which a long catheter (80) can be inserted and a holding section (20) for applying a pressing force to the catheter to thereby cause the catheter to be held in an affixed manner on the inner wall of the body section in which the catheter insertion lumen is formed, the pressing force pressing the catheter in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the catheter.[Problème] Fournir un outil daide médical et un cathéter de guidage qui sont capables de fixer un cathéter lorsque celui-ci est inséré dans un organisme vivant à lemplacement souhaité.
