The present invention relates to a sporting apparatus which is capable of exercising a small animal such as a laboratory rat and quantifying the amount of exercise. More specifically, in a sporting apparatus which is capable of exercising a small animal such as a laboratory rat, the present invention relates to a sporting apparatus for animals, comprising: a treadwheel； a counting sensor for sensing the number of rotation of the treadwheel； and a control part for quantifying a movement amount of the small animal based on results sensed by the counting sensor.본 발명은, 실험용 쥐 등 작은 동물을 운동시키고, 운동한 양을 수치화 시킬 수 있는 운동기구에 관한 것으로 보다 구체적으로는, 실험용 쥐 등 작은 동물을 운동시킬 수 있는 동물 용 운동기구에 있어서, 쳇바퀴(Treadwheel), 상기 쳇바퀴의 회전 횟수를 감지하기 위한 카운팅 센서, 및 상기 카운팅 센서를 통하여 감지된 결과에 기초하여, 상기 작은 동물의 운동량을 수치화하는 제어부를 포함하는, 동물 용 운동기구에 관한 것이다.
