The present invention relates to a pellet formulation comprising an extract of a single medicinal herb or multiple medicinal herbs and a preparation method thereof. The present invention has completed a preparation method of a pellet formulation, which increases the content of an extracted solid and improves production efficiency by subdividing and classifying characteristics of a medicinal herbal extract based on a sugar level in a process of preparing the pellet formulation through a fluidized bed process of preparing a seed and covering the prepared seed, and then optimizing various factors according to the classification. When preparing pellet formulations by using the preparation method, the preparation method enables the extracted solid content of and a herbal medicine extract and the content of an index component to be monitored, and can easily make up a prescription for herbal medicine by combining the prepared pellet formulations. Further, since the preparation method can easily adjust the content of the extracted solid injected, the preparation method has advantages of increasing or lowering the content of a specific index component in the prescription for herbal medicine, thereby easily revising the prescription according to disease degree and constitution of an individual patient for response； and facilitating understanding of accurate cause and deduction of solution in case of side effects.본 발명은 단미약재 또는 복합약재 추출물을 포함하는 펠렛 제제 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 씨드의 제조와 제조된 씨드를 피복하는 유동층 공정을 통한 펠렛 제제 제조 과정에서 약재 추출물의 특성을 당도를 기준으로 세분화하여 분류하고 이에 따른 다양한 요인들을 최적화함으로써 추출 고형물의 함량이 높으면서 생산효율이 향상된 펠렛 제제 제조 방법을 완성하였다. 본 발명의 제조방법을 이용하여 펠렛 제제를 제조하는 경우 생약 추출물의 추출고형물 함량 및 지표성분의 함량을 모니터링할 수 있으며 제조된 펠렛 제제를 조합함으로써 한약 처방전을 용이하게 구성할 수 있다. 또한, 투여되는 추출고형물의 함량을 용이하게 조절할 수 있으므로 한약 처방전에서 특정 지표성분의 함량을 높이거나 낮추어서 환자 개인의 병증 정도 및 체질에 따라 처방을 쉽게 수정하여 대응할 수 있으며, 부작용 발생시 정확한 원인의 파악 및 해결방안 도출이 용이하다는 장점이 있다.
