The present invention is an oil-in-water emulsion sunscreen cosmetic characterized by containing the following components and not containing an organic UV absorber: (A) hydrophobized titanium oxide and/or zinc oxide hydrophobized by octyltriethoxysilane and/or dimethylpolysiloxane； (B) a liquid higher fatty acid； (C) a sugar ester or a silicone having a carboxyl group in the structure thereof； (D) a non-ionic surfactant； (E) sodium carboxymethyl cellulose； and (F) water. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a non-chemical oil-in-water emulsion sunscreen cosmetic that contains hydrophobized zinc oxide and/or hydrophobized titanium oxide as a UV scattering agent, does not contain an organic UV absorber, and has excellent emulsion stability and a pleasant feel while still providing a high level of UV protection.本發明係一種調配有下述成分(A)~(F)，並且未調配有機紫外線吸收劑之防曬水中油型乳化化妝料(A)以辛基三乙氧基矽烷及/或二甲基聚矽氧烷疏水化處理之氧化鋅及/或疏水化處理之二氧化鈦(B)液狀高級脂肪酸(C)構造中具有羧基之聚矽氧或糖酯(D)非離子性界面活性劑(E)羧甲基纖維素鈉(carboxymethyl cellulose sodium)(F)水。本發明之目的在於提供一種含有疏水化處理氧化鋅及/或疏水化處理二氧化鈦作為紫外線散射劑，並且不含有機紫外線吸收劑之非化學性(non-chemical)防曬化妝料，其一面維持高紫外線防禦效果，一面發揮優異之乳化穩定性與使用感之防曬水中油型乳化化妝料。
