A portable vaporisation device (10) that has a mouthpiece with an inhalation passage (23) for delivering an inhalable vapour to a user, a case (12) with a vaporisation chamber (15) and a hinged door, and a heater (16). The chamber can receive a smokeable material via the hinged door, and the heater can heat the smokeable material to generate an inhalable vapour in the chamber. At least one of the mouthpiece and the case is provided with an air inlet (22) configured such that, when a user draws on the device, fresh air enters through the air inlet, mixes with the vapour in the vaporisation chamber, and the inhalable vapour formed by the mixture is delivered to the user via the inhalation passage.
