PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good special light image corresponding to a photographic condition (near view observation and distant view observation).SOLUTION: In a special light observation mode of an endoscope system, a rotational filter 32 for the special light observation is arranged on an optical path of a broad band region light BB emitted from a broad band region light source 30. A filter area 39 for near view observation inserted into the optical path in the near view observation and a filter area 40 for the distance view observation inserted in the light path in the distance view observation are provided in a concentric circle in the rotational filter 32 for the special light observation. In the filter area 39 for the near view observation, by making the area of a filter 41B for a first B narrow band region light larger than the area of a filter 41G for a first G narrow band region, it results in the B emitting time>the G emitting time, and the blood vessel in the surface layer is emphasized. In the filter area 40 for the distance view observation, by making the area of the filter 42G for the second G narrow band region light larger than the area of the filter 42B for the second B narrow band region light, it results in the G emitting time>the B emitting time, and the mucous membrane or the like in the bessel is more brightly displayed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】撮影条件(近景観察、遠景観察)に対応した良好な特殊光画像を得る。【解決手段】特殊光観察モード時に、広帯域光源30から出射される広帯域光BBの光路上に特殊光観察用回転フィルタ32を配置する。特殊光観察用回転フィルタ32に、近景観察時に光路に挿入される近景観察用フィルタエリア39と、遠景観察時に光路に挿入される遠景観察用フィルタエリア40とを同心円状に設ける。近景観察用フィルタエリア39では、第1B狭帯域光用フィルタ41Bの面積を第1G狭帯域光用フィルタ41Gの面積よりも大きくすることで、B出射時間>G出射時間となり表層血管が強調表示される。遠景観察用フィルタエリア40では、第2G狭帯域光フィルタ用42Gの面積を第2B狭帯域光用フィルタ42Bの面積よりも大きくすることで、G出射時間>B出射時間となり、管内の粘膜等がより明るく表示される。【選択図】図4
