PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of exhibiting sufficient leakage prevention function compared with prior ones.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a liquid permeable top sheet； a liquid impermeable back sheet； and an absorber arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorber comprises a width slit group formed of at least two slits which are almost line symmetric and extend in a width direction on different positions on one end part side of the absorbent article in a longer direction. On a clothing side surface of the back sheet, an adhesion layer is provided in a region including a position corresponding to the width slit group.
