The prosthesis (6) has a primary part (1) arranged on a tooth stump and a plastic friction part (2) fastened to a secondary part (4) by an adhesive (3), which comprises a chewing surface. The plastic friction part is made of plastic thermoformed film with a thickness of 0.5 to 1 millimeter, and is designed as a casing or cap. The plastic friction part is glued in the secondary part. A placeholder layer is arranged over the plastic friction part for forming the secondary part, and is made of material such as wax.
