PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulator and an air circulation method saving electric power and sufficiently circulating indoor air to reduce uncomfortable feeling of a user.
SOLUTION: The circulator 1 installed on one lateral wall S on the indoor side or a ceiling wall T located near the one lateral wall S on the indoor side and circulating indoor air includes a first blowout port 4a, a second blowout port 4b and a third blowout port 4c juxtaposed in the horizontal direction sequentially from the side nearer to a first wall face P1 horizontally adjacent to the lateral wall S. A first air stream A1 flowing along the ceiling wall T and falling along the first wall face P1 is sent out of the first blowout port 4a, and a second air current A2 flowing along the ceiling wall T and falling along a second wall face P2 opposing to the lateral wall S is sent out of the second blowout port 4b. A third air stream A3 flowing along the ceiling wall T and falling along a third wall face P3 opposing to the first wall face P1 is sent out of the third blowout port 4c.
