PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article including a top sheet which sufficiently prevents stickiness when a liquid is left on the front surface, while having excellent touch of cotton on skin, hygroscopicity, and sweat absorption, and sufficiently conceals an absorbed discharge fluid.
SOLUTION: The liquid-permeable top sheet is constituted of nonwoven fabrics where two or more layers of nonwoven fabric layers are laminated. At least two layers of the nonwoven fabric layers on a skin side are cotton nonwoven layers whose fiber material contains 70% or more of cotton fibers. A water repellent is added to a layer closest to the skin of the cotton nonwoven layers and also an opening is arranged at least at a discharge port part. Hydrophilic property is raised and an opening size and an aperture ratio are reduced gradually toward the lower layer of the two or more layers of cotton nonwoven fabric layers.
