PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article which makes a user feel good with, prevents a velcro fastener from easily engaging with a rear sheet, and permits the velcro fastener to unerringly maintain ease of engagement with an underpants-type absorbent article, and a package.
SOLUTION: The disposable absorbent article comprises an obverse sheet 2 located in the inside and having a longitudinal direction. The article comprises a reverse sheet 3 located in the outside and having a longitudinal direction. Furthermore, the article comprises an absorber 4 located between the obverse sheet 2 and the reverse sheet 3. The reverse sheet 3 is formed of a liquid impermeable sheet located on the absorber 4 side and a fibrous sheet located on the outside. The fibrous sheet has velcro fasteners 12 arranged on the front side portion 6 and the rear side portion 7 and a plurality of smooth portions 13 not engaging with the velcro fasteners 12 and formed with a prescribed area. At least some of the smooth portions 13 are formed so as to make the shortest distance between the smooth portions 13 shorter than the end-to-end shortest length passing the center of the smooth portions 13.
