PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an absorbent article which simplifies inversion of a pair of wing continuums, interval adjustment between the respective wing continuums, and phase adjustment at an extension part of the wings, and simplifies adjustment of a device for the inversion.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an absorbent article includes: a cutting step for a wing extension part 6 to cut an original wing sheet into a pair of wing continuums 52 in the state that the wing extension part 6 faces a width direction inner side an adjustment step for carrying the pair of wing continuums in parallel in the width direction and performing adjustment so that the wing extension part faces outward in the width direction of the pair of wing continuums and a step for cutting the pair of wing continuums at intervals in a carrying direction to create a pair of wings and bonding the pair of wings 5a and 5b to a surface sheet, a reverse sheet, or an absorbent body 4.
