PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing, relieving loads serially added from different directions to a driving mechanism by reinforcement acting from plural directions, realizing lightening while keeping strength, and realizing proper winding action.SOLUTION: The spinning reel for fishing has a reinforcing portion to a supporting portion supporting a driving shaft for rotating a rotor, which reinforcing portion comprises a first reinforcing portion monolithically formed with the supporting portion and extending from the upper end of the supporting portion to the front side in the axial direction of the driving shaft to connect to the inner wall of a case body part, and an upper side reinforcing portion extending from the upper end of the supporting portion to the upper side in the cross direction to the axial direction of the driving shaft to connect to the inner wall of the case body part.
