A method for preparing the reconstruction of a damaged bone structure using an implant, comprising the following steps which are carried out by a computer (2): a) performing atlas segmentation on a structure dataset which represent the structure to be reconstructed, and determining healthy objects and defective objects within the damaged structure b) determining a target structure by modelling replacements for the defective objects within the damaged structure c) selecting an implant on the basis of the target structure, and providing a shape dataset which represents the shape of the implant d) positioning the selected implant in order to find the optimum implant position e) determining whether or not the selected implant is suitable, and returning to step c) if the implant is determined to not be suitable and f) exporting the suitable implant to a medical navigation process.Linvention porte sur un procédé pour préparer la reconstruction dune structure osseuse endommagée à laide dun implant, lequel procédé comprend les étapes suivantes qui sont réalisées par un ordinateur (2) : a) la réalisation dune segmentation par atlas sur un ensemble de données de structures qui représente la structure à reconstruire, et la détermination dobjets sains et dobjets défectueux à lintérieur de la structure endommagée b) la détermination dune structure cible par modélisation de remplacement pour les objets défectueux à lintérieur de la structure endommagée c) la sélection dun implant sur la base de la structure cible et la fourniture dun ensemble de données de forme qui représente la forme de limplant d) le positionnement de limplant sélectionné de façon à trouver la position dimplant optimale e) la détermination si limplant sélectionné est ou non approprié, et le retour à létape c) si limplant est déterminé comme nétant pas approprié et f) lexportation de limplant approprié vers un processus de navigation médicale.
