PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical examination apparatus capable of appropriately preventing misidentification of a wireless foot controller to correspond to a dental examination unit one to one under such environment as to perform mutual radiocommunication between the dental examination unit and the wireless foot controller for operating the dental examination unit.SOLUTION: A medical examination apparatus 1 according to the present invention includes: a wireless tag 2 at a wireless foot controller 22； and a wireless tag reader 3 at a dental examination unit 11. The wireless foot controller 22 corresponding to the wireless tag 2 is preliminarily registered in the wireless tag reader 3, so as to enable the mutual radiocommunication between the wireless foot controller 22 and the dental examination unit 11 on the basis of information of the wireless tag 2 read by the wireless tag reader 3 only when the registered wireless foot controller 22 is present within a communication range E of the wireless tag reader 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
