PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant that can inhibit generation of a bad body odor such as hircismus.SOLUTION: A composition obtained from azuki beans by an ethanol extraction shows no bactericidal activity to staphylococcus epidermidis that is skin-indigenous bacteria having a function to protect skin but shows a strong bactericidal activity to the genus Corynebacterium which is allegedly one of the causative bacteria of hircismus and prevents the generation of a body odor such as hircismus odor.
