PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light control apparatus capable of combination with external light which is changed as natural light and photomorphogenesis suitable for a plant growth condition.SOLUTION: A light control apparatus 1 for plant growth which promotes plant growth by irradiating a plant with light comprises: a light detection part 11 for detecting spectral radiation intensity of light with which the plant irradiates a control part 13 for storing a light control model previously prepared according to the plant, and obtaining spectral radiation intensity of shortage from a calculation result of the spectral radiation intensity detected by the light detection part and the light control model and a light supplement part 12 for supplying light to the spectral radiation intensity of shortage on the basis of a command signal from the control part 13.
